Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the IndieSacramento Craft Collective. The collective is open to new members, however, we are only looking for artists, crafters, and designers who make their products locally. Not only are we looking for items that are locally handmade, we are also looking for items that fit our aesthetic: unique, hip, fashionable, trendy, utilitarian, pop culture, family friendly, etc. If you have any questions as to whether or not your products would fit IndieSacramento's requirements, please ask! If you feel that your products fit those qualifications, we'd love it if you'd join us.
As a member of IndieSacramento, you will receive a few special perks (in addition to having your company showcased on Sacramento's premiere craft collective website):
- You can add and edit your own company profile, just by logging in to the website! You can even upload your logo and up to 5 product photos. (Company profiles are subject to approval before they will show up on the website.)
- You can add events that you are participating in to the IndieSacramento event calendar. We have a large following that is excited about other craft events in the Sacramento area. Add your next event for added exposure!
- You get access to a members-only forum where you can communicate and network with other crafty entrepreneurs. Want to find out the best craft supply deals in town or which craft events are worth the booth fee? Find out here!
- You will receive invitations to participate in special IndieSacramento networking and craft events.
- You can experience increased web traffic and press opportunities due to exposure on the IndieSacramento website.
How do I join?
There is a short application and a member dues of $144, that can be paid by PayPal. Your dues is good for the ENTIRE YEAR - that is only $12 per month! You will be asked if you would like to renew your membership one year from your sign-up date.
Why is there a fee to become a member?
IndieSacramento has been run on a primarily volunteer basis, and as you can imagine, it's a lot of work! The member dues have been implemented in order to compensate for time and expenses — and also to ensure that only those who are really serious about promoting their businesses will apply.
What happens if my application is rejected?
Your member dues will be refunded promptly.
